As part of an executive order titled “Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History,” the Trump administration is targeting signage in federally managed historical sites like parks and national monuments. The administration’s stated goal is to cover or remove sign text that “inappropriately disparages Americans past or living.”

Supporters of the existing signage say that’s an attempt to rewrite history. And now, a group of concerned librarians and historians is attempting to counter the administration's efforts.

Their project is called Save Our Signs, and The Show spoke with one of its founders, Molly Blake.
