The funeral for the former president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Russell M. Nelson, was held Tuesday. He died late last month at the age of 101.
Nelson’s successor could be named at any time now, and the conventional wisdom is that it’ll be Dallin H. Oaks, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
The Show spoke earlier this week about this with Jana Riess, senior columnist for Religion News Service and author of the book "The Next Mormons: How Millennials are Changing the LDS Church," and started with how she would describe Nelson's legacy.
